Hi guys –
A new-to-sobriety friend suggested I try making a vlog (video blog) – so I recorded this. Don’t worry, I won’t stop writing regular blogs! This video is intended for people who are shy of attending an AA meeting, to demystify what happens and what is spoken of there.
Let me know what you think!

The book I read from is Alcoholics Anonymous. https://www.aa.org/pages/en_us/alcoholics-anonymous
A directory of AA meetings can be found here:

Online meetings can (I think?) be accessed here – though I do believe they are a make-do substitute for (i.e. not as good as) F2F meetings.

All clear – told we can go home ❤
Nicely done. Some are afraid of the unknown about AA meetings. Your video will help!

Thank you so very much for this creative “pretend AA meeting.”
Through this simple thing you have done, I was able to talk to you about what’s bothering me today and use the A.A. format.
I now know I need to call somebody today, get to a meeting and find a sponsor.
Could you please give me any online meetings you may know of?
You may have saved my life. And I hope it’s not too late to heal my state of physical mental and spiritual health. I hope someday I can do something as important as you have done here.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I am so glad my video helped you! All my fears of looking silly are banished by your words — you are exactly the person I hoped to reach!
As for online meetings, I have never tried one, but I found this:

You can also use this link to find a local AA meeting.

I will add both these links to the post itself in case others don’t read the comments. Sending you LOTS OF LOVE and prayers for healing!!
